It supports both 4G LTE and 5G NR TDD, ideal for high-traffic urban macro sites, hotspot capacity expansion and dense-area coverage upgrade. This 8T8R radio supports flexible split configuration: 2×4T4R or 4×2T2R multi-sector operation, which allows operators to reuse one single RRU for multiple sectors to save site CAPEX. It connects to Ericsson baseband units via CPRI / eCPRI fiber fronthaul with up to 25Gbps optical interfaces. The unit adopts passive cooling with rugged outdoor housing, suitable for tower, pole or wall mounting.
