The 8DG62186AB, internally named 260SCX2, is a dual-channel 200G coherent Analog/Digital Optical Transponder (A/D OT) line card developed by Alcatel-Lucent (now Nokia Networks), designed exclusively for the 1830 Photonic Service Switch (PSS) DWDM platform series, including PSS‑4, PSS‑8, PSS‑16 and PSS‑32 chassis.

This low-noise flex coherent transponder card delivers two independent 100G coherent optical channels, aggregating a total of 200G full-duplex bandwidth. It integrates advanced Soft Decision Forward Error Correction (SDFEC) to maximize OSNR margin for long-haul and ultra-long-distance fiber transmission. The 8DG62186AB is an upgraded iteration of the earlier 8DG62186AA variant, with optimized optical noise suppression, thermal dissipation and cross-chassis compatibility; the two part numbers are fully interchangeable for field replacement.
